This clear, dry weather means all systems go for Michigan State’s aerial attack. Look for Connor Cook to have yet another big game in what has been a truly impressive senior season, as he goes against Maryland’s 91st ranked passing defense that is giving up 250 yards per game.

However, we will still probably see the coaches try to establish the running game to build cohesion on the newly healthy O-line in advance of next week’s showdown against Ohio State.

Despite the pass-friendly weather forecast, the Michigan State secondary should be able to build some much-needed confidence against the horrid Maryland passing offense, which ranks 112th in the nation with a paltry 165 passing yards per game. Maryland QB Perry Hills has thrown for less than 1,000 yards on the year and has 11 interceptions to only eight touchdown passes.

For mid-November in Michigan, it sure looks to be a BEAUTIFUL DAY FOR FOOTBALL!
