What a past week it was; from seemingly taking a loss to the rival Michigan Wolverines, to experiencing the highs of one of the greatest plays in college football history, pulling out a time-expiring victory. I will watch that play over and over and over again, as I’m sure all Michigan State football fans will. Seeing Jalen Watts-Jackson go across the goal line and rip the victory from the Wolverines will never get old.

As glorious as that was, with the win the Spartans remain in prime position for the College Football Playoff. Which means MSU and Spartan Nation must move forward to another rival — OK, so it is a forced rival. The Indiana Hoosiers come to Spartan Stadium trying to play spoiler to the Spartans special season. Forks Down.

Here are five key Spartans to watch for during Saturday’s Indiana game.

5. Grayson Miller

In a losing effort, with Nate Sudfeld back, the Hoosiers scored 52 points and threw the ball for over 400 yards and have four touchdowns against Rutgers. Grayson Miller is going to be a key player in this matchup. The true freshman had his first start against Michigan last week and more than held his own.

Miller seemed fine with coming down in run support and tackling in open space. However, Jake Rudock and the Michigan passing game did not attack the freshman safety downfield.

Grayson will absolutely tested down field and tested often. It will be interesting to see how the true freshman adjusts to the up-tempo spread offense. In order for the Michigan State to win he is going to need to adjust quickly.
