The big Michigan State vs Oregon game this weekend will be the focus of college football fans everywhere. College GameDay will be on hand to check out the Ducks take on the Spartans at Spartan Stadium in East Lansing for a rematch of last year’s 46-27 debacle.

Michigan State will be looking to get revenge on the Ducks as the home-field advantage will be in the Spartans’ favor.

As one of the biggest games in Spartan Stadium history, the two teams will be battling for bragging rights and an early leg up in the College Football Playoff race. Michigan State, ranked No. 5, and Oregon, ranked No. 7, will both likely be in the race until the end of the season, but a loss in this one could definitely put one of these two teams all but out of it.

East Lansing will be the place to be on Saturday night and there will be many things to watch for on both sides of the field.

How will Oregon respond to being on the road in Vernon Adams’ biggest game as the quarterback? Will the Spartans rebound defensively from a poor showing in the secondary or will they once again falter?

Connor Cook and Adams will be squaring off in one of the best early-season quarterback battles as both could potentially be Heisman candidates.
