The amount of excitement building around Michigan State football’s 2015 season is immeasurable. Fans, current and former players and coaches alike are all praising the work that has been done this offseason in order to get back to dominating the Big Ten, outside of Ohio State, and fighting for a spot in the elusive College Football Playoff.

Head coach Mark Dantonio has been talking up his team and claiming they have been game ready for weeks now.
Western Michigan will open the season hosting Michigan State on Sept. 4 and there’s nothing else on the mind’s of the coaches and players than the Friday night contest against one of the MAC’s best teams hungry for an upset.
Although the team is aiming to at least make a New Year’s Six bowl game, if you asked anyone on this team what the ultimate goal is this season, they would tell you that it’s national title or bust.
Rarely during Michigan State’s history have you ever seen hype quite like this. Not often have we seen the phrase “national title or bust” used to describe any Michigan State season outside of maybe Tom Izzo’s basketball program.
Dantonio has brought this program out of the shadows and it’s now considered one of the elite in the nation after four 10-plus win seasons in the past five years along with two straight top-five finishes, a top-five start this season and Cotton and Rose Bowl titles in the past two years.
