2. Kenneth Walker III rushes for over 150 yards

Indiana hasn’t allowed a single 100-yard rusher this season which is actually really impressive when you think about it. The Hoosiers give up about 130 yards per game on the ground, but they also haven’t seen a running back the likes of Kenneth Walker III yet.

The Hoosiers saw Tyler Goodson of Iowa in the opener as he rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. Idaho and Western Kentucky don’t exactly have solid run games, Penn State still had plenty of success despite not having a 100-yard rusher (accounting for over 200 yards and 5.0 yards per carry as a team), and Cincinnati’s Jerome Ford had just 66 yards on 20 carries.

So it’s clear Indiana can give up yards to good running backs, but the Hoosiers are still solid in that aspect of the defense.

Walker III is going to change that on Saturday.

We just saw Walker III rush for over 200 yards for the second time on the season (and second in Big Ten play) and he’ll approach that again on Saturday with a 150-yard game and two scores.
