Michigan State Football: 5 bold predictions vs. Western Michigan
4. Trishton Jackson scores two touchdowns
Facing off against his brother, Obbie Jackson, on Saturday, Trishton Jackson has high hopes for his personal production. Of course, he would like to get the ultimate victory over his brother (a Spartans’ win), but he has voiced his opinion on the one-on-one matchup with Obbie.
Earlier this week he was asked if he wants to score on his brother (which should come with an obvious answer) and he was quick to respond with a yes. Sibling rivalries are always fun to watch on the football field, and the younger brother wants to line up across his older brother and burn him deep for a touchdown, or two.
Well, it’s going to happen. Whether Obbie is the defensive back who lines up across from Trishton on both touchdowns will remain to be seen, but he seems hungry. He wants to reach the end zone after a pedestrian first start in which he caught three passes for 41 yards.
The younger Jackson is going to have himself a game as the battle on the outside will be one to watch. One of Trishton’s touchdowns will be on a 40-yard “go” route down the sideline and the other will be on a slant that he takes to the house.
