I had originally put Cam Chambers in this spot, but after reading up on the looming rivalry between Trishton Jackson and his brother, Obbie Jackson, it’s clear that the sophomore wide out is expecting big things. He said he wants to score on his Western Michigan sibling, a defensive back, and he’s going to do everything in his power to do so.

Obbie is coming off his first start against USC in which he recorded three tackles and helped keep the Broncos in the game until late in the fourth quarter. He’s going to potentially line up across from Trishton, and there will be fireworks if that happens.

Michigan State’s sophomore wide out has been tabbed as a major breakout candidate for this season and it’s that talk is gaining some steam. After catching three passes for 41 yards in his first start, Jackson is hungry for more. He has the speed and elusiveness to make defenders look silly and he also has Lewerke’s trust.

The Spartans have some talented young receivers for the 2017 season, but Jackson highlights the group. This could be the monster game everyone has been expecting.
