1. Michigan State will beat Ohio State
Remember last year when everyone just assumed Michigan State would beat Ohio State at Spartan Stadium in prime time? No one really knew how good the Buckeyes were at that time and Michigan State looked like a team not to be reckoned with as they were bulldozing all opponents in their way.

Connor Cook always seemed to find a way to get up for big games like that and perform at the absolute highest level, but Michigan State fell flat on its face, losing 49-37 and effectively dropping out of the College Football Playoff race with two losses.
This season, the roles have reversed. No one really knows how good Michigan State is as no win on the schedule has been all that impressive and Ohio State has been rolling over [most] opponents.
The Spartans will also be the road team in this one as The Horseshoe is one of the toughest places to play in all of college football. It will also likely be a 3:30 p.m. ET game and there’s a decent chance College GameDay will be there to broadcast the huge matchup — depending on how each team does leading up to that point.
Cook will have his guys ready and so will Dantonio. This game could potentially be the deciding factor on whether or not the Spartans play for a Big Ten title and have a chance at playing for the national championship.
The mantra has been “reach higher” this season, and despite all the injuries and mediocre play, we have yet to really see this team reach its fullest potential. That will happen when it travels to Columbus, Ohio, on Nov. 21.
Michigan State will beat the Buckeyes 38-33 thanks to Connor Cook and Aaron Burbridge and also a resurgent run game.
