A bonus slide that does not involve a member of the Michigan State team. This was the worst game of officiating that I have ever seen. I understand that they are human and calls will be missed, it’s a part of the game. Yesterday though was an entirely different animal.

Phantom holding, pass interference, and personal foul calls against the Spartan defense. A blatant facemask inside the five-yard line by an Indiana defensive back, with the referee looking directly at it, was not called. Kevin Wilson being granted a timeout as the play was in progress and he was 20 yards on the field and finally forward progress being called when a player was still running which negated a fumble.
These were the big calls that were obviously missed. The Big Ten should reprimand this officiating crew in some way because that was an embarrassment. Everyone around the country always “rags” on how bad the officials are in the Big Ten, yesterday did nothing to improve that thought.
