1. The Catch

Michigan fans will forever dub this game ‘Clockgate’ because of the infamous situation in which MSU quarterback Jeff Smoker spiked the ball to stop the clock with one tick on the clock when the Wolverines believed time should have run out.

That’s beside the point, though. This was easily the most iconic moment in series history and will forever be remembered by both sides.

If you are a true Spartan fan, you know exactly where you were when this happened. I know that I was watching it in my basement, bummed that my dad brought my brother instead of me, but he was older and got first dibs on the best games.

When the pass was in the air, I could barely look. It still brings anxiety followed by excitement to this day. If you weren’t jumping up and down like the players on the field, you might now have a soul.

Just take a look at the unbelievable moment that was the most memorable in MSU-UM series history for the Spartans.

T.J. Duckett was already going down as a legend in MSU history before this catch, but you can be sure he is a welcomed sight around East Lansing and will forever be a hero to Spartan Nation. What an amazing play.
