Purdue head coach Darell Hazell has given the Spartans something to really consider on Saturday afternoon as the third-year top dog has said that he has basically figured out Michigan State’s game plan, according to Matt Charboneau of The Detroit News.

"“Michigan State does what they do and they have since (coach Mark Dantonio) has been there,” Hazell said. “They’re going to run power to the tight side, they’ll run it to the split side. And when they get running power, they’ll run some other type of gap scheme. They’ll throw it as well as they need to throw it, but they’re just very consistent in what they do offensively. And then defensively, they’ve always been very good. They play that matchup on the outside with those corners and they play those safeties in the box. They dare you to throw it and they obviously want you to run the football.”"

Hazell’s squads have been tough against Michigan State over the past couple of seasons and he really thinks that he can take down MSU on the road.

This type of quote should be pasted on the white board in the front of the locker room and every Michigan State player should take a deep look at it and realize that a team that just lost to Bowling Green at home thinks they will come in and take down the Spartans in East Lansing.

Not gonna happen.
