Michigan State football made the trimmed list of three-star 2018 wide receiver Terrell Perriman from Miami, Fla.

Although Michigan State has gotten a bad rap in terms of football recruiting lately, the Spartans seem to be peaking the interest of plenty of 2018 prospect. The latest to include Michigan State is his list of top schools is three-star wide out Terrell Perriman.

If you’ve heard the last name before, it’s because his cousin, Breshad Perriman played football at UCF and is now with the Baltimore Ravens. His cousin is known as a speedy wide out and Terrell could bring the same skill set to the table.

Potentially following Breshad’s footsteps, Terrell included UCF in his list of top schools along with Michigan State, Utah, West Virginia, N.C. State, Illinois, Georgia, LSU and Tennessee. It’s a semi-loaded list with a number of teams perennially contending for conference crowns.

Although he’s just 5-foot-11 and 180 pounds, Perriman brings the element of speed to the table. He’s also hard to take down with the ball in his hands.

With his size and speed, he’s an excellent candidate to play the slot position. Moreover, he could be an excellent return man for the Spartans, if he were to choose the green and white. That’s something that’s been lacking for years now.

Perriman is ranked the No. 531 overall recruit and 88th-best wide receiver, according to 247Sports. Michigan State offered the Miami-native on April 20.
