Raiders’ punter pulled off a massive troll job on Thursday afternoon, stating former Michigan State star Draymond Green is better than LeBron James.

Everyone knows who the best player in the NBA is nowadays. The overwhelming answer, probably 99 out of 100 people, is LeBron James. The Cavaliers’ superstar just led Cleveland to the NBA title in 2016 and is on track to repeat in 2017.

Who did he face in the NBA Finals in the past two years, though? None other than former Michigan State star Draymond Green. The former Spartan has developed into one of the league’s top all-around players and an elite-level defender.

There have been talks about Draymond being a top-10 player in the league, but Raiders’ punter Marquette King went a step further on Thursday afternoon.

Whoa, now that’s a take.

While this was probably nothing more than a troll job, the fact that he said it knowing that he would be followed after by pitchfork-and-torch toting LeBron faithful is brave. The responses to this tweet are hilarious, though.

King is standing up for his fellow Bay Area athlete but that’s still a bold statement. Green has been considered the top all-around player in the league, but saying he’s better than someone who has been constantly compared to Michael Jordan is a stretch.

However, King is on the bandwagon, hoping the Warriors can avenge last season’s Finals loss to LeBron’s Cavs.
