The Spartans are looking to stock up at receiver and it’s not a bad idea, given the lengthy success they’ve had at the position. Why not try to keep it going with prospects like Bell.

Bell is ranked the No. 50 recruit in the 2019 class and 11th-best receiver, according to 247Sports. He’s also listed as the top prospect from the state of Indiana. Michigan State has had success in the surrounding states, but Indiana isn’t as strong of a pipeline state as Ohio.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver from Indianapolis already has a decent, yet short, offer sheet for being just a sophomore. He holds scholarships from Notre Dame, Cincinnati, Indiana, Iowa and Syracuse. Ohio State is also showing interest.

An impressive talent, Bell is one of the most athletic prospects in the 2019 class. He possesses the ability to go up and get the ball, even with defenders draped all over him.
