Michigan State Recruiting offered three-star 2018 wide receiver Anthony Schwartz earlier this week.

Known for reeling in and developing top-tier wide receivers, Mark Dantonio and Michigan State are hoping to catch another big fish. The Spartans offered three-star 2018 wide out Anthony Schwartz earlier this week and his offer sheet says it all.

The Spartans may have gotten in a little late on his recruitment as he had already named a top 10 on March 30, but he did admit he was open to considering more schools. Now that the Spartans have gotten into the mix, will that change things up?

It’s tough for Dantonio and his staff to come in this late and realistically win a recruit, but with their track record in terms of getting receivers to the league, anything is possible.

Prior to the Spartans’ offer, Schwartz’s top 10 consisted of Florida, Auburn, Georgia, USC, LSU, Oregon, Miami, Notre Dame, Louisville and Michigan. That’s quite a list for a three-star receiver, but that’s just how talented he is.

When watching his film, he shows flashes of an R.J. Shelton type of player. He’s more explosive than Shelton was and may have better breakaway speed, but the two play a similar game. Moreover, he stands just 6-foot-0 and 172 pounds.
