Right off the campus of Michigan State University resides one of the top 51 college bars in America, Crunchy’s.

Like signing karaoke? Craving one of the best burgers East Lansing has to offer? Look no further than Crunchy’s on Grand River, next to Valley Ct.

According to Hannah Doolin of delish.com, Crunchy’s has been listed as one of the top 51 college bars in America. It’s listed as the 23rd-best in the country, which isn’t surprising to those who have visited the establishment.

It has one of the best selections of beers on tap and the food isn’t too bad, either. Not just that, but they have karaoke on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights unless there’s a Michigan State football or basketball game going on, in which case it’s a great place to hang with fellow Spartans.

Crunchy’s isn’t your typical college bar with a dance floor and DJ, but it’s one of the more low-key places in East Lansing where students like to gather after a long week of classes.

Saturated with Michigan State memorabilia, it feels like home for Spartan students.

While Crunchy’s was the only bar from Michigan State mentioned on the list, there are still plenty of great spots to check out if you’re looking for a great East Lansing college bar. If you’re looking for more laid back atmospheres, Peanut Barrel (Grand River) and Roadhouse Pub (Michigan Ave.) are prime spots. Heck, even check out HopCat (Grand River) which just opened a couple years ago.
