Michigan State football is gearing up for a big National Signing Day frenzy in which there will be a number of top targets committing. Will the Spartans be able to reel in some of the top names left on the board?

Well, there have been a couple of guys who made the decision to play college ball elsewhere over the past few days in four-star receiver Oliver Martin, three-star receiver Raheem Blackshear and, most recently, three-star running back Johnathan Lovett.

The 247Sports‘ live commitment tracker is below:

The crown jewels of the class are Kevin Jarvis, Matt Dotson, Hunter Rison and Antjuan Simmons. All four of those guys are four-star recruits and each could have an early impact for the Spartans. Jarvis fills a position of need on the O-line, Dotson could replace Josiah Price, Rison could crack the rotation as an early enrollee and Simmons is the only true linebacker commit.

The class is expected to grow on Wednesday, but as we learned from last year’s National Signing Day, anything can happen. Keep it posted here for new commitments, de-commitments and even flips.
