Michigan State Spartans are playing the Purdue Boilermakers. The last time these two teams came together in January, Michigan State defeated Purdue 76-62 at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.  Once again, the Spartans are in a 3-way tie for first place in the conference.

Kieth Appling is still the Spartans’ leading scorer with an average of 14 points per game. The Boilermakers’ lead scorer, Terone  Johnson averages 12.4 points per game. When it comes to rebounds, Adreian Payne leads the Spartans with 6.9 per game. A.J. Hammons leads Purdue with 6.8 per game. Appling leads assists for MSU with 4.2 per game vs. Ronnie Johnson’s 3.6 per game.

MSU has a bit of an offensive advantage going into the game. Let’s hope they pull this one off for the win. Go Green! Go White!
