Michigan State Spartans beating Purdue Boilermakers 31-23 at the Half

In what’s been a very physical game for Michigan State and Purdue, the Spartans are up by 8 points going into the second half. At one point, the Spartans had a 13-point lead.

The Spartans have been shooting today at 46%, making 13 of 28 field goal attempts. Purdue has been shooting at 40%, making 8 of only 20 field goal attempts. When it comes to the 3-point goals, Michigan State has shot at 42.9% making 3 of 7 attempts and while Purdue has shot at 33.3% making 1 of only 3 attempts. Purdue has been scoring at the line, however, making 6 of 9 free throw attempts while Michigan State has only taken the line twice, making the pair.

For the Boilermakers, Terone Johnson has been the star of the game, grabbing 12 points for his team. Little Brother Ronnie Johnson has 6 points for the Boilermakers. A.J. Hammons has 3 points and Donnie Hale has two.

For Michigan State, Branden Dawson leads in scoring with 8 points for his team. Derrick Nix and Gary Harris each have six points.
