Ohio State connected twice in the second period and once in the third period. Leading Ohio State scorer Tanner Fritz scored the first Buckeye goal, with freshman forward Tyler Lundey scoring the second two.
Despite shooting being almost even at 24-23 Ohio State, the Spartans couldn’t connect.

A no win series against an unranked Ohio State team will not bode well for Michigan State in the NCAA rankings. The Spartans will face a No. 6 ranked Notre Dame team next weekend in South Bend.
