The Michigan State and Nebraska game may prove to be a pivotal day for the Spartans’ 2014 recruiting class. Coach Mark Dantonio offered several players and details about those offers are beginning to leak. One of the players to receive an offer was defensive end Lawrence Marshall (Southfield, Mich./Southfield).
According to ESPN recruiting analyst Jared Shanker, Marshall said Dantonio personally delivered the offer to the 6-foot-4, 205-pound defender and said that the coaching staff loved his highlights of getting to the quarterback.
Marshall currently holds offers from Bowling Green, Indiana and Toledo, as well as interest from Illinois, Iowa and Michigan, among others.
He will visit Toledo Tuesday night for the game against Ball State, and Toledo is only a few minutes away from his hometown of Detroit.
