Thursday is a big day for the Michigan State 2014 recruiting class. The reason why is because wide receiver Thaddeus Snodgrass (Springfield, Oh./Springfield) picked that day to publicly announce the college he will verbally commit to.
He has an offer from Michigan State and he has named the Spartans in his top five. The other teams in his top five include Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin. MSU has a great chance to land him, and with the porous receiving corps the Spartans employ, his talents could help the team tremendously.
It is rumored that Ohio State is his favorite program, so it would not be a surprised if he chose the Buckeyes over his other favorite schools.
ESPN reported Sunday that Snodgrass was expected to visit Notre Dame for the Pitt game, but he was unable to get a ride. This may hurt Notre dame in getting his signature.
He also has offers from Georgia Tech, Indiana, Purdue and Toledo, among others.
