Illinois at Wisconsin football– Outside of allowing Nathan Scheelhaase to score first, Wisconsin football had absolutely no trouble putting away Illinois 31-14 in Madison on Saturday.
Wisconsin quarterback Joel Stave completed 16 of 25 passes for 254 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. Heisman hopeful Montee Ball was able to carry the rock 19 times for 116 yards and two touchdowns, and Jared Abbrederis reeled in seven receptions for 117 yards and a score.
Illinois (2-4, 0-2 Big Ten) was lucky that Scheelhaase was healthy this week because this game could have been a lot worse. Scheelhaase completed 18 passes for 178 yards, a touchdown and an interception, and also rushed for 84 yards and a TD on 22 carries.
