Big Ten: Michigan football handles Purdue at Ross-Ade 44-13

Michigan football at Purdue – The Michigan football program had to travel to West Lafayette, Ind. to get a win on Saturday, as the Wolverines beat the Purdue Boilermakers 44-13 at Ross-Ade Stadium.

Denard Robinson completed 8 of 16 passes for 105 yards and a touchdown. Robinson also added 235 yards on 24 carries on the ground, and Fitzgerald Toussaint carried the ball 17 times for 19 yards and two TDs.

Michigan’s defense was able to get Purdue to commit four turnovers, including a 63-yard pick-six by Raymon Taylor on a Caleb TerBush pass.

Michigan (3-2, 1-0 Big Ten) will host Illinois next Saturday in Ann Arbor at Michigan Stadium. Purdue (3-4, 0-1 Big Ten) has Wisconsin traveling to play at Ross-Ade Stadium this coming Saturday.
