Michigan State football: Le’Veon Bell wins Big Ten Offense POW

Michigan State football star running back Le’Veon Bell was named the Big Ten Offensive player of the week award on Monday, as he ran for 253 yards and a touchdown against Eastern Michigan during the Spartans 23-7 route Saturday.

This is the second time this season that Bell has won this award. After Michigan State’s Week One game against Boise State, Bell won the award for the 210 rushing yards he accrued against the Broncos.

Junior linebacker Chris Borland from Wisconsin won the defensive player of the week award and Nebraska’s sophomore punt returner Ameer Abdullah took away the special teams player of the week award.
