There was a lot of movement in the Week Five Fansided Top 25 Poll. Oregon crept up to the No. 2 position, Oklahoma and Clemson fell down the rankings and, hey, Rutgers, we see what you’re doing over there in New Jersey.

However, there was no movement for Michigan State football, as the Spartans maintained its rank at 21 after narrowly beating the Mid-American’s own Eastern Michigan 23-7. Should Michigan beat Ohio State this week, MSU will definitely ascend back up voter’s ballots, but that is a tall order for a team that is yet to distinguish who it is on offense. If Sparty ever needed a reason to get the job done this Saturday, ESPN College GameDay being on campus in East Lansing would be the best one to have.

Poor Big Brother. Michigan was dropped from the poll completely after it was trashed 13-6 by Notre Dame’s stellar defense, led by defensive Heisman frontrunner Manti Te’o. The Wolverines were ranked No. 19 in last week’s top 25 poll.

And, yes, you are reading that correctly. Spartan Avenue is the only ballot to have Western Kentucky. We love what you’re doing coach Taggert. Keep it up.
