Final: Notre Dame downs No. 10 Michigan State football at Spartan Stadium

No. 20 Notre Dame at No. 10 Michigan State football – The No. 20 Notre Dame Fighting Irish walked in to Spartan Stadium and laid a beat down on the No. 10 Michigan State Spartans.

Notre Dame got off to a 14-3 lead in the first half and there was no looking back. The Irish continued to play courageous defense, led by linebacker Manti Te’o, as the team only needed to put two field goals up on the scoreboard to ice the game.

Notre Dame’s quarterback Everett Golson completed 14 passes on 32 attempts for 178 yards and one touchdown. The Irish gained 300 yards of total offense.

Le’Veon Bell carried the ball 19 times for 77 yards. Andrew Maxwell completed 23 of 45 passes for 187 yards. Michigan State football had 237 yards of total offense.
