The Eagles’ offense was unable to keep drives alive, as the team only converted 2 of 14 third downs into new sets of downs. Although Eastern Michigan football’s rushing game was stellar, posting a 4.4 yards per rush average and recording 169-yards rushing in total, it wasn’t enough to play keep up with the Boilermakers’ offense.
