Michigan State women get at-large berth in NCAA Tournament

The Michigan State women’s basketball team found out Monday night that they are the No. 10 seed in the Raleigh Region.

MSU (20-11 overall) will play No. 7-seed Louisville (22-9) in the first round.

The Spartans finished the Big Ten season in a four-way tie for second place.

Tippoff for the game, to be played at College Park, Md., is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Michigan (11 seed) and Eastern Michigan (12 seed) also made the tournament were placed in the Fresno Region.
