Michigan State women nearly hit century mark in win over Indiana

The Michigan State women’s basketball team got off to a fast start in the Big Ten Tournament on Thursday night.

The No.5-seeded Spartans (20-10 overall) dominated No. 12-seeded Indiana (6-24) en route to a 97-68 win. Both Porsche Poole and Jasmine Hines led the way for the Spartans with 17 points.

Up next for the Spartans is a matchup Friday against No. 4-seeded Purdue.

MSU beat the Boilermakers (21-8) at home Feb. 19 67-52, but lost to the on the road a month earlier, 67-49.

That game is slated to tip Friday night at approx. 8:30 p.m. ET.
