The Michigan State women’s basketball team held off a late rally by Penn State to snap the team’s losing four-game losing streak.

MSU won the game 83-77 at Breslin Center.
The Spartans (13-9 overall, 5-4 Big Ten) let the Nittany Lions (16-5, 6-3) grab the lead late in the game, but key turnovers and foul shooting sealed the game for the Spartan women.
State was led by Porsche Poole’s game-high 32 points in the win.
The Spartans led Penn State 34-33 at the break.
For the Nittany Lions, it was the team’s first loss since losing to Michigan State earlier this month on Jan. 7
Up next for Michigan State is a trip to Michigan on Feb. 5.
